Our family followed a passion for Pinot noir from Michigan to Oregon’s Willamette Valley back in 2010. We found the perfect location for a vineyard on Marion Hill, just south of Salem and planted our first vineyard block in 2012. In the years since we’ve added acres progressively with sustainability, stewardship and premium quality fruit at the heart of our farming practices.
Our “sweet 16” acres of vines thrive on our estate One Heart Vineyard where the volcanic soils of the South Salem Hills lend a depth and richness to our wine. While we primarily grow Pinot noir, we also have a block of delicious Albariño in the vineyard.

Kevin Taylor’s Lasting Legacy
One Love Cellars’ story began with Kevin Taylor’s passion for Pinot noir. As a biochemist in Michigan, he was fascinated with the art and science behind the wine made from this temperamental grape.
When the Taylor family moved to Oregon, Kevin and daughter Kate studied viticulture and enology at Chemeketa Community College’s Northwest Wine Studies Center, gaining the knowledge to grow a vineyard and make wine. Within a few years, they had created a beautiful vineyard and the boutique wine brand of One Love Cellars.
Kevin truly had a love of wine, grape growing and winemaking, and the energy with which he pursued his interests spilled over to all those around him.
Sadly, since 2018, his spirit lives on in the soil, in the bottle, and in the hearts of One Heart Vineyard and One Love Cellars.
